whoo hoo!!!

Journal Entry: Wed May 10, 2006, 11:41 PM
man it's been a long time since I last posted on here. Don't worry, I've got plenty of artwork to share, especially to go along with the Broadway craze I've gotten on in the past six months. Came about from a few trips to NYC, and some extra creativity by working on such a great production of David Hare's "The Blue Room."

But randomly about 30 mins ago I just got into this amazingly good mood. I was trying to fall asleep, listening to my iPod, and this song that used to have some meaning for me just.... didn't do anything. No memories associated with it. I mean, the memories are there, they just don't mean anything. They're part of my past, as are the people and places associated with the memory. And I've been progressing so well in my life, there's just no time to dwell on the past. :D

Anyway, just felt like sharing that with the internet and a community that will probably not read this, but whatever. The joys of online journals. You may not care, but I do, and that's all that matters.

THanks for the time. Later all. ; )

whoo hoo for 1,000 page views! that made this month marginally better :D

I've been busy operating one of the followspots in my university's production of The Music Man. But luckily, that leaves me with stretches of time during the play where I can just sit up there in the booth and do whatever, which usually equates to drawing. especially since we can't put too much light on in the followspot booth, since it's all the way in the top of the theatre over the balcony, and we don't want for there to be all sorts of extra light hitting the stage/distracting from the play.

I've decided that I really do enjoy working in the theatre. I've met some amazing people in CNU's theatre department, and made some dear friends. Plus it gives me a creative outlet, and that's always good, especially when used as a way of getting out emotions. Yeah, very good indeed. :)

nearing the halfway point

today marks the first day back at school after spring break, making this semester half over, and after this semester I will be halfway through my undergraduate. Pretty cool; and stressful at the same time. Taking some upperlevel classes this semester, so I've been really busy. But I've still managed to complete and post some new sketches, so feel free to check those out. later :)

been a while

Well, it has most certainly been a while since I've posted anything on this site. I've spent a lot of time this summer working as an intern/deputy clerk at the courthouse (I was even sworn in by a judge so that I could sign legal documents), catching up on rest and drawing. I've become interested in the shows "Queer as Folk" and "The L Word," and my artwork will reflect that. :)
Well, I have a bunch of stuff I need to do around the house. I also need to get downstairs and work out (I've gotten into the habit of doing at least 500 situps every day, usually at night). Be sure to leave feedback on my new sketches. Later all!

man, it's amazing what a few hours can do, huh? I dunno what was up with me earlier, but I sure as hell feel better now. Took some aggression out in artwork. Going to be uploading two new pictures asap. Thanks for the concern that I know you all had. :D Later!
